- _cbt: Used for internal A/B testing and feature variation analysis.
- crawlbyte-session: Used to maintain secure dashboard sessions and user authentication.

Payments are handled securely by Stripe, which complies with PCI-DSS standards. Crawlbyte does not access or store full payment details. All billing data is processed directly by Stripe.

Crawlbyte does not sell or rent personal data. We share limited data with trusted third-party processors when necessary:
- Payment processing (Stripe)
- Email communication (Customer.io)
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (for website and API performance)
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Hotjar)
All partners are contractually required to handle data securely and lawfully.
8. Data Retention and Backups
We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide our Service. When an account is closed or terminated:
- Account and data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
- System logs and backups are retained up to 90 days for security or audit purposes, then deleted or anonymized.
